游戏内容：此次兰斯要面对“10000倍于己方”的敌军。赫尔曼帝国是现存中最为古老的军事大国。但是在几年前，由于ZF的腐败，泱泱大国濒临衰落，内乱四起战火不断，再加上邻国的趁虚而入——主谋就是一名曾经被国家抛弃的男子。数年前因为贪功而急于攻打邻国，落得失败下场，最后行踪不明的皇子“巴顿·密斯那尔吉（パットン・ミスナルジ）”，为了有朝一日回到祖国而不断修行着，取得了很大的成长的他，在修行过程中也遇到了一些一骑当千的猛者，其中就包括我们熟悉的鬼畜战士，兰斯。由于赫尔曼处于外忧内患的特殊情况，所以兰斯打算潜入赫尔曼，找到赫尔曼地下埋藏的魔法道具来解开希露的封印，但是由于戒备森严没有找到混进去的机会，这个时候巴顿找到了他，想借助兰斯的力量夺回国家，于是两人一拍即合，开启了赫尔曼冒险的征程。
